This is my story
My mother passed away at the age of fifty-three; I was twenty-five years old. Although our time together was extremely short, it was enough for me to witness her life of struggles, her many defeats, and so many victories. Mom was a very strong, hardworking woman. She battled to the last breath!
At first, my intention was to write the story of her life – describing her struggles and the simple way she had managed to keep our family together, even after such a great loss.
However, as much as I knew everything about my mother's short life on this earth, I could never describe every moment of her life, nor write a book worthy of her character.
On the other hand, I know that everything I lived through would not have been so without my mother's influence – without her legacy of faith, love, and family.
